ARTISTIC BACKGROUND

Patrik Holczer is a Hungarian visual artist based in Brussels. His artistic perspective has been shaped by more than two decades of experience in fashion, design, and visual communication, a background that continues to inform his approach to composition, colour, and the human figure.

His painting practice brings contemporary figurative art into dialogue with personal and social observation. His visual language combines elements of naïve painting with symbolic and occasionally surreal imagery, drawing inspiration from fashion, contemporary visual culture, Hungarian folklore, and folk tales.

Living in Brussels has further deepened his interest in identity, belonging, intimacy, and human relationships. His work connects personal memory and cultural heritage with the realities of contemporary European life.
